Summary: The Truc Bach area is a great place to stay in Hanoi if you want some peace and don’t need to be in the heart of the tourist zone. Many restaurants, coffee shops and cocktail bars are within walking distance and it is a pleasure to walk along the lake. We had great service (thank you Google translator), a good breakfast and a quiet night’s sleep.
