Positive: This is a very nice and quiet homestay located in a peaceful neighbourhood....if you can find it!!! This has to be one of the only businesses in Vietnam that doesn't have any signage. There's no indication when you arrive at the address that this is a homestay as it looks exactly like all the neighbouring homes. Not even a plaque on the street address to let you know you've arrived at the right place. I had to call them, which ended up being useless as the girl who answered said, " I don't speak English" and promptly hung up. I had to ask one of the local residents if I was at the correct location...eventually I found the accommodation residence, but it was extremely frustrating and difficult. The place is a true homestay, with no reception area, just a house. You enter into a living area and open kitchen. I was greeted (I assume) by the same girl to whom I spoke with on the telephone - and all communication had to be done via Google Translate app. I paid in cash and she gave me the key to an upstairs room and then showed me the way. In order to ascertain the necessary codes (for the front door's electronic lock and for WiFi), you need WhatsApp or Zalo...if not then you need to engage via Facebook Messenger. Overall, another frustration just to get these important codes. Noting she will send the communication in Vietnamese...I received three codes, and not knowing which two are for the front door & WiFi. Unknown what the third code was for????? So far, my experience was far from welcoming and fraught by a frustrating method, of which should've been far simpler and easier. However, once this "procedural information" was sorted, everything else was pretty good, but not excellent. The upstairs rooms I was allocated was large, clean, and comfortable, and had its own private bathroom (with an annexed sink entry area) and small balcony overlooking the quiet street below, but basically equipped (no fridge).

Negative: Refer to my concise review for good and bad points.
