Summary: Chapa Farmstay is a unique experience. It's about 20 minutes from Sapa town proper which is great. Very quiet and pristine. The little cabins are comfortable, with incredible views and the bathrooms are modern. But the best part of our stay was the host family. We had such a great time chatting with the grandparents during meals, sitting around the fire on cold early mornings and playing with the children. They arranged for our one day trek with a fun lunch in village along the way - ending with a traditional Red Hmong herbal hot tub experience. Our last evening they invited us to join their family dinner and drink rice wine. They also linked us with a local taxi driver who ferried us in and out of town as needed. Staying with the family at Chapa Farmstay was the highlight of our 3 week vietnam trip!! We stayed for 3 nights and wished we could have added 2 more.
