Summary: Grand K hotel is above residential apartments, so the rooms are high up. It is not a bad hotel just a bit distant in the new business district. But then Hanoi is spread out so takes more time to get to places than say Saigon and Danang. Lucky Grab was cheap for us. We had 3 in a 2-bedroom suite. Spacious enough with 2 baths and small living with kitchen. Brekky buffet had a good spread. Pool is indoor at the top floor next to the sky lounge/bar so has nice birds eye view of the city. There is a convenience store Golden Mart in the same building so a definite plus. Hotel staff were friendly enough without being extraordinary except for one...our favourite concierge Thang. Always smiling, always chatty, always welcoming. People person. Big shout out to him. If you don't mind Grabbing this is a pretty good choice.
