Summary: I came back to La Mejor on a second visit, and it was just as delightful as the first. The location, the quiet interior rooms (granted, no windows), and the breakfast all standouts. But once again, the thing that really made my stay was the awesome team of people working there. They were all so kind and went above and beyond to make sure I enjoyed my time in Hanoi. Dieu was tremendously helpful with support and recs. And Jane’s understanding of what guests need to ensure they have a great experience is unmatched. On my first visit, her local recs and bookings were gold. On my most recent visit, I had a problem completely unrelated to the hotel and Jane went way out of her way to solve it. If I was boss, she’d be in charge of everything. The people there make the experience and when I’m back in Hanoi I’ll stay there again.
