Summary: This used to be the VERMONT Hotel up to a couple of years ago and the VERMONT was GREAT, the RUINED IT with this "HIVE" garbage thing. The VERMONT had a Great restaurant open for all meals, I loved it. This HIVE thing does not really have a restaurant. They have a "leased restaurant" on the roof that you have to climb stairs from the 5th floor to the Terrace where it is at, it is open air no shelter bugs etc., and the food was fair at best with limited selection. There is NO place to get get coffee nearby before 8am, What ? They only give you 2 bottles of water when you arrive and no more. The bathroom in the room I was in was TINY you coud not dry yourself off in there it was that small, the toilet up against the shower door which made it difficult to enter/exit the shower. The shower door did not close properly and the whole floor was a giant flooded mess. They use sheets on the bed which are not the right size and it is a mess sleeping on them. Pillows lousy, lumpy and hard all 4 of them. AC blows in your face. I asked for a Taxi to the airport the day before, told 2 different people in reception, also told the bellboy/security person and there was NO taxi waiting for me at 2:45am, REALLY ! Restaurant next door only opens for dinner is Spain type food and only opens for dinner did not eat there prices ridiculous I was told it was not good. Will I ever stay here again, NO ! NEVER ! Go someplace else. Other major problems that there is not enough space to list.
