Summary: I'm struggling to understand the outstanding reviews on here, firstly before I comment can I say the pool and pool bar staff were amazing. Smiles ! Friendly and went out of their way Arrived to be given a downgrade on the room we paid for , the one given had no balcony, which was paid for and they tried to say it was one of their better newly furnished rooms. I went back to reception and was taken to another room but not before the manger basically admitted that our room had been given to someone else. We weren't a late check in, so I'm not sure how this happened, however I think them trying to keep others happy meant we didn't get what we had paid for. The next room , I agreed to take, however only as the atmosphere has become rather tense. The room had a balcony but overlooked a roof, the shower just hit the back of the wall, so was difficult to use unless you held it. The hotel advertised "free drinking water" but this meant two glass bottles, filled with who knows what, and a had been sat there for who knows when ?? The bottles weren't too clean either. You'd be insane to drink it . Every other hotel provides sealed proper water, which you can tell where it's from and hasn't been stood days ?? Final insult is I was asked to sign to say " room accepted at no extra cost "" !!! Funny as we had paid for something much better, so should be getting a refund. The bed is very hard . The rooms are very noisy, and we didn't sleep well all week . We had paid for a specifi
