Positive: I Stayed at Mina Home Hotel for a full month. The location of Mina Home is perfect. It is locatd in a side street just off the main street, therefore quiet, but close by all the restaurants and the Bus pick-up spots for day excursions to Hoi An, Hue Marble Mountains and Ba Na Hills by bus, such as Highlands Coffee (1 street block away) and the road that runs along the beach (2 street blocks away). A few minutes walk to the best beach, My Khe Beach. Many convenience stores across the street and just around the corner. My apartment was on the top floor, towards the back, away from the street (Apmnt 603) and although it did not have windows with a view towards the outside (There are windows with view onto the internal atrium), I liked it, because it made the room more quiet and shielded it from the warm morning sun. Just perfect. The aircon worked perfectly. THere is a roof garden from which I watched the nightly fireworks display at the River. The large screen Smart TV with Wifi Connectivity was very nice, as I could watch live news bulletins and movies in English on YouTube. The WiFi worked well and was fast. It was also nice to have a desk to sit at and work on my computer. There is a quality massage parlour right next door and a good Vietnamese restaurant diagonally across the narrow street and a very nice American Food Diner, Diner 66, across the main street (70m away). The Hotel just around the corner in the main street, SoCo Hotel, offers a buffet breakfast for only USD $2! The Landlady is the sweetest person herself and whenever I wanted something, it was attended to immediately. All the staff members I encountered, were very friendly and helpful. Always friendly and inviting.

Negative: There was nothing that I did not like. The apartment has a dishwashing sink, kettle and fridge. I think it could benefit from having a small microwave oven, especially for long stays, even if one can rent it for a small extra charge. There are no cutlery or utensils in the apartment, but I bought my own for next to nothing, so it was not a problem. To me, as a single male traveller, the apartment was just perfect.

Summary: Very memorable stay in a nice apartment in a safe and friendly environment
