Positive: This hotel ruined Vietnam for us because nowhere else compared when it came to service. This was the first hotel we checked into when we arrived in Vietnam. The hotel was very well located and close to central attractions but not too in the thick of it. Hotel looked clean modern and impressive, well decorated frontage and lobby/reception. You were greeted with a welcome drink and when we left they gave us a goody bag for the airport with seasoned nuts and water. The staff were absolutely fantastic, helpful, friendly and couldn't do more for you if they tried. They always greeted you with a warm smile and even helped make sure we were getting into the right taxis and of course hauling luggage around for us. They even waved us goodbye when we left the hotel They also weren't hankering after tips all the time which can be noticeable. The rooms were spacious and well fitted. The bathroom was also clean, modern and came with everything you needed. Beautiful freestanding bath and a separate enclosed shower. The bathroom also had shutters and curtains for walls that you could turn the room into an open plan situation with. A really nice touch. The bed was comftorable and plenty of seating. On the whole breakfasts were quite nice, not too greasy or fatty and a nice little selection for what is a small restraunt. The a la carte option which you can supplement the buffet with had some nice options. The only complaint I could make was that in the eggs Benedict the eggs were overcooked and that's about it really. Everything else very nice. Top marks and definitely one of the best hotels we have ever been to especially for the value. I don't think there's anywhere else in the world you would get that standard for the same money or even close.
