Positive: Design is actually fancy. Staff were helpful and did their best. Price is very generous. Location is quite good, you can easily walk to mausoleum / ba dinh square and some other attractions nearby. They also gave me a Christmas gift, a green tie. Actually, I think if they can fix at least some of the problems (it certainly can be done!), it will become a great option.

Negative: This hotel has very high reviews, but honestly, there are many flaws you should be ready for: - It can't be located on Grab precisely (due to their maps) so be prepared to finish your ride 50m from hotel and walk down a very narrow alley (first time this can be a very intimidating experience, especially at night like I did). Actually it's quite safe I guess, but be prepared. Maybe some pointers to hotel in the alley can help. - Ants. My room was plagued with ants, especially in the bathroom, but sometimes they appeared in the room as well. One day I ordered food in room service and left the plate at the table, next morning ants were in the plate. I had to keep my luggage closed and standing up to protect it. Same issue for breakfast - you can spot ants on the plates with fruits/vegetables, doesn't look very appealing. - Breakfast quality overall was questionable, the only thing that helped was that they serve fresh soup and fried eggs. - Sound isolation doesn't exist. You can clearly hear all the floor. There are also construction works going on nearby, first day I arrived they were also heard at night, thankfully next days they were active only during the day. - Room view was to some very narrow inner court, and didn't have enough daylight during the day. - Housekeeping was also questionable. When I arrived (almost midnight!) room wasn't fully clean (trash can in bathroom was full + bathroom had some hair on the floor), some next days housekeeping was completely skipped (maybe due to Christmas) I wonder how all available reviews miss almost all of this...
