Positive: Our private cruise to Bai Tu Long Bay was overall a memorable experience, offering a peaceful alternative to the busier Ha Long Bay. From the beginning, the tour operator provided attentive and professional support, giving us clear, detailed advice tailored to our family. This helped us feel confident before confirming the trip. The bay itself is truly sublime quiet, scenic, and perfect for travelers seeking privacy and relaxation. The onboard activities were well-paced and suitable for families, while the food stood out as a major highlight. The menu was shared in advance and thoughtfully customized to our preferences, including excellent local dishes for two family members who do not eat meat. The staff were kind and dedicated, and the organizer, Danny, was especially friendly and responsive. Also he ask to send deposit 200$ for a private boat. Although we felt a slight hesitation when making the deposit due to the limited number of reviews, we ultimately decided to proceed in order to secure our trip. The pricing was reasonable for a private cruise experience, which gave us confidence that it would be worthwhile. The cruise features a classic design, and the cabins were comfortable, well-equipped, and carefully arranged, creating a cozy atmosphere. However, there were a few points that did not fully match our expectations. the boat felt quite old despite being clean. Another detail worth noting is that the “2 days/1 night” itinerary is closer to one short day and one night, with departure at noon and return around 10:30 the next morning. Transfers from Hanoi take significant time and are not included in the cruise price, We have to pay 150$/private car round trip In summary, this cruise is a good choice for families or groups seeking tranquility, privacy, and personalized dining in Bai Tu Long Bay.
