Summary: The hotel has a great location, close to Sapa Lake and the town centre, and the staff were generally friendly and helpful. However, my experience was mixed, and there are a few things I think travellers should consider before deciding to stay here. The biggest issue was the noise at night, especially during the weekend. I can understand Sapa being vibrant and lively on weekends, and people enjoying themselves. However, the loud chatting, laughter and repeated cheers continued until around midnight, making it very difficult to fall asleep. If you are a light sleeper or value a good night’s rest, this could be a significant concern. I was also surprised by the noticeable cigarette smoke smell in the hotel lobby. I don’t really understand why there was such a strong smoking smell in an air-conditioned hotel lobby. It made the common area rather unpleasant. On the positive side, the location is convenient and the hotel offers reasonable value for its price. Overall, I would recommend considering these points carefully before booking, particularly if you are staying over a weekend. If you do decide to stay, it may be worth requesting a room away from the lobby/common areas and, if possible, on a higher floor.
