Travel Purpose: leisure

Positive: The room was basic, but nice and modern. It was very spacious and clean, with a very comfortable bed and good hot shower. The owner was very responsive on booking.com and we just used translate when we met in person. She was very friendly and helpful. Overall, if you can deal with bar noise across the road, or you’re out partying yourself, this little Homestay was unbeatable value for money.

Negative: It’s got multiple beer restaurants on the street, so music and cheering before drinks was pretty loud til after midnight, but using the fan, I was able to drown it out a bit. Even though there was a communal kitchen downstairs, it would be great to get a kettle with tea/coffee amenities in the room. It’s nice to be able to make a cup of tea without having to move far from bed.
