Travel Purpose: leisure

Positive: Very friendly and helpful staff. They helped us to buy bus ticket to Hanoi with option of transfer with speed boat or cable car. Thank you. Good location because it is just up the hill from the public bus #14 stop. Plenty of places to buy food. Walking distance to Cannon Fort and to Cat Beo pier.

Negative: This is generally referring to most economical stays in Cat Ba only because most places have no heating in the winter. It was cold the first couple of nights we were there, but the owner quickly bought several portable heaters for the guests to make them comfortable. There are always plenty of hot water with no water pressure problem in the room also.
