Summary: I came to Cam Ranh for a day from Nha Trang because it’s home to one of the most beautiful beaches in the area. For me, the sea and the beach were the most important. And what a shock it was to see the state of the beach near the hotel. It was absolutely covered in rubbish and plastic, bricks, cigarette butts, and more. There were bags and bottles floating in the sea. Around the sun loungers, I found leftover coconuts from cocktails, old shoes, plastic tableware—all of which I ended up cleaning up myself. The hotel staff did absolutely nothing to maintain or clean the beach. The sea itself is beautiful, the water is clear, and the sand is white, but people clearly don’t appreciate or take care of it. They litter and leave everything behind. The apartment was clean and lovely, just like in the photos. The hotel and its grounds are well-maintained and green. The swimming pool is large, though the water was murky. Breakfast is mostly Asian cuisine, but there are a few European options available.
