Summary: I have stayed at this hotel for a total of about 9 nights since it first opened. I really loved the crisp, rustling texture of the bedding provided in the room. Furthermore, I was very satisfied with the kindness of the staff. And, the sunset over West Lake viewed from the rooftop pool is incredibly beautiful. However, there are three drawbacks that I would like to point out. First, the soundproofing is inadequate. It seems there is a public performance venue or something similar in front of the hotel where busking goes on until 10 PM. It was so loud that it interfered with my rest. Also, I was very uncomfortable because I could clearly hear the sounds of couples making love—whether it was from the next room or a different floor, I'm not sure. Second, the breakfast selection is small, and the taste of the food is not up to par for a hotel of this caliber. Third, the gym in the basement lacks variety in exercise equipment, and yoga mats are not provided, which made it impossible for me to do free-weight exercises that could substitute for the lack of machines. In fact, the noise issue might vary depending on the time of the stay, but I believe it would be great if further investment were made in the quality of the food and the facilities of the gym. On the other hand, the advantages are: It is close to the airport. It takes about 25 minutes. The surrounding infrastructure is quite good.
